Terms of Use

Version 2026-10-12

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Kip mobile application and website (together, the “Service”), which are provided by 22nd Street Designs (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who can use Kip

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Gymnasts under 18 may appear in scores, photos and videos only when a parent, legal guardian or coach with authority over that gymnast has added them or given permission.

2. Your content

“Your content” means the scores, notes, photos, videos and other material you add to Kip. You keep ownership of your content. You give us permission to store it and to show it to the people you choose through the visibility settings described below, and only for the purpose of running the Service.

You confirm that you have the right to add your content, and that you have the permission of the parent or legal guardian of every child who appears in it.

3. What is not allowed

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You may not add or share content that:

  • is sexual, nude or sexually suggestive, or that exploits or endangers a child in any way;
  • harasses, threatens, bullies or demeans a person, including a child, parent, coach, official or competitor;
  • is hateful, violent, illegal, or promotes dangerous activity;
  • was filmed in a changing room, restroom or any other place where people expect privacy;
  • shows a person without the permission they, or their parent or guardian, would reasonably be expected to give;
  • violates someone else’s rights, or the rules of a meet, gym or venue about filming;
  • is spam, or impersonates another person or organization.

You may not use the Service to contact a child in an inappropriate way, or to attempt to find out where a child lives or goes to school.

4. Who can watch your videos

Each video has a visibility setting that only you can change:

  • Private – only you can watch it. This is the default.
  • Followers only – you and the people who follow the gymnast and have been approved can watch it.
  • Public – any signed-in Kip user can watch it.

People you share a video with can stream it in the app, but the app does not offer a way to download it. We cannot stop someone from recording their screen, so please think carefully before you make a video public, especially a video of a child. You can change a video back to Private at any time.

5. Following a gymnast

Following a gymnast requires approval from the gymnast’s parent or guardian (or anyone else who has that gymnast on their list in Kip). They can approve, reject or remove a follower at any time.

6. Reporting and blocking

If you see content that breaks these Terms, use the Report option on the video. If you do not want to see or be seen by someone, use Block; blocked people cannot see your videos and you will not see theirs. You can review the people you have blocked in the app at any time.

We review reports, and aim to look at each one within 24 hours. A video that several people report is hidden from everyone but its owner until we have reviewed it. We may remove content, and suspend or close accounts, that break these Terms. If you believe we made a mistake, contact us using the address below.

If a child may be in danger, contact your local emergency services. In the United States you can also report child exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at CyberTipline.org.

7. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has used it.

8. Ending your use

You may stop using Kip and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we need to protect other people.

9. No guarantees

Kip is provided “as is”. Scores and results shown in the app come from meet organizers and from users, and may contain errors. To the fullest extent the law allows, 22nd Street Designs is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms. When we do, we will update the version above and ask you to accept the new version before you use sharing features again.
